My teaching method first involves analyzing the student's initial knowledge on how to code and building onto more interesting topics of the language from there. After I have an initial understanding on my student's level, I will then inquire for his/her goals on coding in general and what they want to do in the future. Ultimately, these goals will be taken into consideration in regards to shaping my teaching structure. Overall, I'm incredibly flexible on the student's intentions and what their future aspirations are.
I am an IT Support at a mining company who creates python scripts at work, as well as a computer science student at UNSW with a distinction WAM including 95% in data structures and algorithms. I've given coding lessons to friends and relatives and I'm keen to teach to those who would be passionate about coding as well. I believe that coding is a really important skill where I want as much people as possible to love coding especially due to its significance in the future.
