Had experience with Massih being my mentor in a course of Psychology at the RUG university.
Massih has a recognisable drive to keep on improving and becoming as good as a teacher as he can be. It is easily felt that he has a natural liking for this profession.
I remember the lessons being very relaxed, yet at the same time very ordered and efficient.
Massih was teaching me for the period of one year and I loved his class. He is one of the few people who is able to inspire and establish a superidrinate goal for the learning groups which made it so much more exciting and enjoyable to finish the workload.
Apart from that massih is a very caring and understanding person and creates an overall positive atmosphere. I can fully reccomend him
Massih was my private tutor for a few months in Germany when I was 13 years old. During that time he helped me to improve my English so much that I decided to choose English as my advanced level course one year later and am now one of the best in my class.
I'm very thankful for having had him as my tutor and for that he made private tutoring not even close to being as awful as I expected it to be. With Massih's help my oral marks in English and even in most other subjects became much better.
My mother and I decided that I needed private tutoring after my English teacher told me I would fail that subject if I woudn't do something about my marks. In my first tutoring lesson Massih asked me what I thought I wasn't good in and how I wanted him to help me. While he was tutoring me Massih didn't just teach me English vocabular or grammar but he thaught me how to practice it myself and how to be more comfortable with the language.
As Massih has been a great tutor for me I can only recommend him for teaching German as well.
I have known Massih as a teacher and friend. He is a kind, open minded, and calm person. One example of an experience between he and I was in our first class meeting where he was the instructor. In the first class he moved aside all the tables and left an open circle of seats where each person can sit. Massih explained that having the tables between them act as barriers which do not promote an open environment. This was the first time I had ever experienced this and it was very positive because all of the students were open and eager to interact with Massih and the course content. In my own opinion I think Massih will be a huge asset to your Superprof team.
Massih was my Dialog and Group Skills tutor for half a year in my first year of university and really stood out as a supervisor and mentor. For one, Massih is an excellent listener and whatever the issue, in or outside of class, he will have an open ear and be able to give informed advice. Secondly, during his lessons we were all aware that Massih has all of the answers; however, instead of telling us them, he let group wok on them in a discussion and let us go through the process of finding a consensus to finally come up with the answers ourselves. This way, everything that he taught us was internalised rather than just remembered. Finally, I think the best aspect of Masssih's teaching style was his ability to make everyone feel welcome. This or me was why I will always look back to his lessons with great appreciation. He allowed everyone to speak freely and thus created an atmosphere that fostered communication and teamwork. The people I met during the course are still very dear to me because we got along so well in class. Even those who at first seemed shy and hesitant to give their opinion managed to be regular members of the discussions we had in class by the end of our time together.
I recommend Massih as a teacher because of his talents of group building and outstanding communication skills and I know others will have a similarly good experience as we had in the Netherlands.
I had Massih as a teacher for one semester in the second year of my psychology bachelor. I see him as a very competent tutor who brings along all the necessary skills to be a good teacher. He manages to stay very calm in any situation and creates a beautiful learning atmosphere. I remember classes in high-school where you were actually afraid to ask the teacher a question or just have them clarify the current topic. Massih stays very open, understanding and non-judgmental towards his students which is why you always feel comfortable to approach him if you have issues with the material or otherwise.
Massih was my teacher in university of Groningen, Netherlands and I can attest and probably can speak for the whole class when I say that he was our best teacher ever!
He held weekly practical lessons with us and they where always interactive and interesting. This was mostly because of how Massih is a teacher and a person, he was always creative in how he taught us and always tried new ways to convey important information that we had to remember. Massih was always organised, focused and very professional for every class.
I'm very sad to not have him as a teacher anymore and I can just imagine how lucky his future students will be to have him as a teacher.
