Who am I? Good question! I discover new things about myself every week so even I don't know who I am sometimes! But I definitely hope that I can help you discover your strengths and weakness in the field of maths and physics and assist you in becoming more confident in these fields!
I am an ANU(Canberra) Engineering Graduate (Major: Electronics and Communications Systems/ Minor: Mechatronics Systems - Dec 2017) and a design engineer (as of June 2018), I am keen to teach almost anybody and everybody that needs the extra guidance! Having taught people of all walks of life, as a teacher's assistant at Code Camp for Yrs 2-6 or my on and off mentoring and tutoring that I provided during my school and university years, I know what it's like to constantly struggle through difficult concepts. No one student is the same and therefore I will try to identify areas that can be improved upon and provide teachings, guidance and online resources that can help the student do better in their courses.

I've been tutoring on-and-off since I was in year 7, sometimes teaching in class as a teachers assistant for my juniors. During my college years, I was a maths and physics tutor to my juniors which was an easy task for me as the concepts came quite easily to me and they typically saw between a 10-15% increase in results with me as a tutor, compared to my teacher who did not have the time to provide individual support. In university I served as a mentor to my peers and guided them through engineering courses that I have previously done, providing resources and ideas on how to approach concepts in different ways. My most recent tutoring experience was for a standardised English exam (Pearson Test of English - for which I got full marks) where I helped my friend that was constantly getting between 50-65 out of 90. However, after having showed him his weaknesses and ways of tackling the exam, he ended up getting between 65-79/90 across the four topics tested in the exam. I also took part in Code Camp in order to expose young children to the world of coding through development of platform games.
I think what would make me a great teacher is that I love being persistent and patient with my students and will try to find a solution to help them get through any issues they have because everyone learns at a different pace. I have also been praised for being a good listener and providing constructive feedback like a friend would rather than a very strict teacher which has really shown to help a lot of my former students reach out to me for advice and try a more active form of learning rather than passive. Finally I enjoy the aspect of teaching and have always wanted to be a teacher when I was younger because as a teacher you not only give knowledge, but also you gain knowledge and creativity for solving problems due to how different each and every student is.

2017: ANU Engineering Graduate with Credit Average, Major: Electronics and Communications Systems, Minor: Mechatronics Systems.
2012: Attained 2A*(90%+) and 2A (80%+) on the GCE A-levels (topics - Physics, Further (Advanced) Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry) - this is an equivalent ATAR of 98.1.
2011: School's highest in A-level Mathematics and Physics.
2010: World's highest in Mathematics.
