I usually help students to understand concepts first by explaining and letting them attempt a few basic questions that needs each of specific content. After that, when I see them being able to solve, I either gave them practice papers or let students ask questions usually that they were stuck at, or got wrong for the exams.
I am a student studying in ANU. I gave private tuition back in Singapore and taught 10 students for 6 months (maths, science, English). Most of my students usually failed their exam, but improved to get at least pass, and usually up to B or A within that time. I am willing to teach maths and Korean. For Korean language, I taught my friends 1 hour per week last time (although I didn’t get money because they are my friends).
