Students who struggle in finance usually complain about hundreds of concepts/ ratios that you have to keep in mind or the complicated mathematical calculations involved. My teaching style gives a simple fix for all of this, i.e., breaking everything down to its very basics. All commerce disciplines follow the same simple set of principles and I believe once a student is able to nail that down it gives them clarity of thought and creativity to easily visualize different concepts. I would strive to provide all my students with this clarity of thought. I would also be equipped to assist my students in any mathematical difficulties they may face in these subjects (given my Actuarial major). I strongly believe life would become much easier for university students following this ideology and they would never have to fret about grades again.
My lesson structure would be half an hour of conceptual teaching and then another half an hour of practical case studies/ numerical practice and interaction with the student. However, this is alterable to suit the needs of the student as one size does not fit all.
I am currently in the final year of my Actuarial/Finance major and have an aggregate WAM of 82. I have been passionate about finance as a discipline since my first year scoring high H1s in all the related subjects. In the three economics subjects I've done at University, I have scored H1s in two of them and a 90+ in one of them. I have successfully mentored multiple peers/juniors who have struggled with commerce subjects in the past and helped them improve on their conceptual knowledge in an efficient manner. I have conducted multiple seminars and workshops on various subjects in high school that have helped devise multiple ways of communicating effectively with different individuals.

He is fast and makes it super easy to understand.
Arsh helped me with Finance and he was better at explaining concepts than my tutor at UniMelb. He really enjoys his subject and it shows in the way he teaches. He uses amazing analogies to explain complicated stuff.
He taught me a few critical concepts in finance better than my own professor!! Highly recommend!!
Arsh helped me boost my WAM. He breaks down complicated concepts and explains them using real-life examples. Heβs incredibly patient and warm too!
