My lessons place particular focus on making sure students have a strong conceptual understanding of the subject matter, and are equipped with thinking strategies to help demystify challenging problems.
During teaching sessions, I take time to address the areas that students self-identify as weaknesses. I encourage students to set their own learning goals and feel confident in their ability to succeed.
I am a recent graduate with the degree of Master of Biological Arts (UWA), an interdisciplinary field incorporating Biological Science and Fine Arts. I have more than five years experience as a tutor, and have had particular success helping students who lack confidence in their foundational skills, or feel that their learning style is not suited to maths or science subjects.
