Chemistry happens on a scale that is unimaginable for the average person. Due to this, I approach the subject by making it relatable and systematic to the student. This way the student can begin to visualize the atoms and molecules moving within the problem and understand how reactions must progress.
I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelors and masters degree in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and Indiana University of Pennsylvania respectively. I have worked as a teaching fellow for the university in general and physical chemistry 1 and 2 corsses. In addition to educational experience, I have worked as a chemist for PPG and ALCOA.
