C.N.Chandrashekar who is one of the very eminent Carnatic Violinists of
Current Era. He is practicing violin since 15 years. He has a taste for both
Carnatic classical music and contemporary fusion music. He started his music career at the age of 9 under the guidance of Vid. Sri. Ananthapadmanabha Rao where he was trained in Carnatic vocal music for 15 years. During this phase, he also picked up violin under the guidance of Vid. Sri. Mallesh Aaradhya and Vid. Smt. Vijayalakshmi and got trained in Carnatic Classical music for 4yrs. He has also composed music for short movies and has played live music for various theatre groups like Yours Truly & Tramps. His interests include playing Carnatic classical music, Carnatic fusion, symphony and violin covers. He has performed various concerts (both solo and duo) at places like ADA Rangamandira, Rangasthala, Ravindra kalakshetra, etc. Has been awarded with the āPrathiba Puraskarā award by the Indian Heritage Academy for his Carnatic Classical music.
