CELTA-qualified ESL teacher based in Wollongong with a practice-based approach to teaching and a passion for languages.
Methodology
I am a big believer in using real-life texts, audio, and visual media to learn a language because textbooks can sometimes be removed from how real people use and speak the language. In the first get-to-know-you lesson (which is free ;) ) we will discuss different things that interest you, and then we will use those media to examine and learn English vocabulary, grammar, and of course speaking and listening.

Background
I am an ESL teacher with a BA (English & History) and CELTA certification. I have experience with both face-to-face and online tutoring at all levels, including GAMSAT and IELTS preparation. I am a learner of languages myself, currently learning Spanish and French, so I know what it's like to be finding your feet in a new language.
