Methodology
I tailor lessons to students' needs and do not believe that every person fits into a mold. Each person is an individual and has specific strengths and needs. I tutor children k-8 and also adults who desire to excel in English. I rely heavily on vocabulary and grammatical and phonetic instruction. (I am able to get anyone reading within months.)
Background
I have worked at both a school and independently as an ESL and Language Arts tutor for four years both in-person and online. I am passionate about my students excelling and have a high success rate helping each student achieve success.

I’m one of her students from 2015. Megan became my tutor when I was in 6th grade. I came from another country, so English is not my first language. After Megan tutored me for four-five months, I saw how much I improved my English skills. More than just a teacher and student relationship. We became friends! I’m still asking her for help and talking about my life with her.
Now, I’m going to be a freshman next year. Honestly, I didn't like the high school that I’m going to at all. Megan changed my mind about that by using her inspiring words and thoughts. She is a very kind and optimistic teacher ever!
