I’ve been with him for like 2-3 months now doing both physical and online lessons because we both live in Jeddah. The أستاذ has a fair hourly rate and has shown time and time again, genuine concern for whether you have benefited from the lesson. He doesn’t feel comfortable with taking money for a lesson where he didn’t benefit the student. Something I love about him is that he checks up on your iman and relationship with allah. Overall down to earth individual and good character, which I’ve experienced in person having spent many hours with him. He speaks decent English, which can sometimes be difficult to find with Arabic teachers.
