I am a certified EC–6 teacher with additional certifications in ESL and Special Education, which means I have formal training in how students learn, how to explain concepts clearly, and how to support different learning needs. As your academic counselor, my goal is to support you in understanding your classes, setting goals that make sense for you, and feeling more confident in your abilities. I am a certified EC–6 teacher, ESL certified, and Special Education certified, which means I understand that students learn in different ways and sometimes need things explained differently.
Together, we can work on understanding your schoolwork, improving organization and study skills, setting realistic goals, and finding strategies that match how you learn best. I focus on helping learning feel less stressful and more manageable.
This is a space where you can ask questions, talk honestly, and get support without judgment. Everyone needs help at times, and having someone in your corner can make a big difference.
