About Trent

My passion for programming began when I discovered how software could solve real-world problems and improve efficiency in different industries. I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science before earning a PhD in Software Systems Engineering. Over the last 13 years, I have guided students through programming concepts using supportive instruction and practical learning methods.

I focus on creating lessons that match different learning styles and confidence levels. Some students improve through project-based learning and visual examples, while others prefer detailed explanation and logical breakdowns. My teaching style combines patience, adaptability, and structure so learners can improve comfortably and steadily.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring software tools, modern programming frameworks, and emerging technologies. Staying updated helps me introduce current and practical examples into lessons. Teaching programming is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students become more confident, creative, and skilled while learning valuable technical abilities.

About the lesson

My programming lessons focus on helping students build strong coding foundations through practical learning and clear explanation. I teach Python, Java, C++, web development, algorithms, and database concepts using structured exercises that make programming easier to understand. Lessons are designed to improve logical thinking, debugging ability, and confidence while creating a supportive learning environment.

Beginners learn variables, loops, conditions, and functions through guided coding activities and simple projects. Intermediate learners improve problem-solving, debugging techniques, and software organization through practical tasks and structured development exercises. Advanced students focus on algorithms, optimization methods, and project design with deeper technical discussion. I also include coding challenges that encourage creativity and independent thinking.

Programming becomes more approachable when students understand how logic connects each part of the code. My lessons encourage experimentation, patience, and confidence while allowing learners to improve steadily through regular practice. I want students to become more independent, capable, and comfortable while solving technical problems and building software solutions.
