I believe all lessons should be focused around the student and their needs. I'd like to start by identifying exactly what the student is having trouble with. I know that homework can often pile up so I think the best way forward is to begin with basics, to make sure the student understands the area of English they need to work on, so then we can build up to working through homework and assignments. I think any student with a positive attitude and a bit of persistence will find these lessons helpful.
I am currently studying at college and one of my subjects is English Literature 3. We have already sat mid-year exams for which I received 4 A's and I also won the English award for my school last year. I have not done much tutoring but I always do my best to help peers where I can. I am eager to share my knowledge and passion for English with others.
