About Christopher
I am an experienced math and science tutor as well as a visual artist and filmmaker. I am in the process of pursuing degrees in Computer Engineering and Physics. I find that tutoring benefits both me and my pupils as we share the experience of mutual study and discovery. I acquired an undergraduate degree from Rhode Island School of Design in fine arts, and worked as a visual artist for two decades. I decided on a career shift and matriculated at the Community College of Rhode Island in Computer Engineering. I have maintained nearly straight A's and was nominated to become a peer tutor by my Chemistry professor.

I typically discuss with the student what he or she is having difficulty understanding. I will often look at homework problems or quizzes and tests to get an idea of the materials. I will then go over trouble spots with the student and often give out study resources and practice problems. I am empathetic and understand the frustration of encountering difficulty in a particular area of academia. I have worked with teenagers and adults. I tend to tailor the lesson to the student.
