A tutor must firstly help the student build a base of the subject in question. The concepts must be made 100% clear; only then will the students understand the questions asked and be able to answer them. Afterwards, students are helped in formulating and writing the essays. There is a lot of emphasis on practicing the questions. I then mark the questions and guide them with sample answers of my own to help in making essay-writing easier.
