I pride myself on being able to provide customized instruction that is targeted towards: 1) the level of the students — starting from where they are at, 2) the objective or the nature of the task, and 3) responsiveness towards the learner's needs.
Approach: Customised lessons
1st lesson: 1) Review of a relevant document produced by the student in order to evaluate the level of the student and the specific learning needs together with the student. 2) Discuss objectives for the forthcoming lessons with specific deadlines for assignments such as dissertations.
Subsequent lessons: Customized learning tasks to develop targeted skills OR discuss/correct/review specific chapters/sections of a writing task
