About Ivy

I have 8 years of experience teaching French, supported by a Bachelor’s in French Language and a Master’s in Applied Linguistics. My journey started with a strong interest in languages and communication. Over time, I developed a teaching style that focuses on clarity, patience, and steady improvement for every learner.

I believe every student can learn a language with the right guidance. My teaching approach is simple and supportive. I use clear explanations, structured practice, and real-life examples to help students understand easily. I also make sure students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing without hesitation.

Outside of teaching, I stay connected to the language through reading and cultural learning. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons. Teaching French is meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and communication. Helping them express themselves clearly and connect with a new language is truly rewarding.

About the lesson

My French lessons are designed to help students understand the language in a simple and clear way. I begin with grammar basics, verb conjugation, and sentence structure so students can build a strong foundation. I explain each concept step by step using easy examples. I also use repetition and short exercises to help students remember what they learn. Each lesson is calm and well-structured, allowing students to learn comfortably without feeling rushed or confused.

As students improve, I introduce conversation practice and listening exercises to help them use French in real-life situations. We work on pronunciation, fluency, and understanding spoken French. I also include simple cultural topics like daily expressions and common phrases to make lessons more interesting. Lessons are always adjusted to the student’s level so they can improve at a steady and comfortable pace.

My goal is to help students feel confident using French in daily life. I support them in building fluency step by step with patience and clarity. Over time, students begin to speak more naturally and understand the language better. I create a friendly space where they feel free to practice, improve, and enjoy learning without fear.
