Friendly and experienced UTAS medicine student giving English tutoring for students in year 1 to 10
Methodology
Hi! My name is Carmel and I am a medicine student at UTAS. As I have recently finished school myself, I have a lot of resources and will be able to help you/ your child in a relatable and understandable manner.
I am a very approachable, gentle and responsible person, perfect to tutor both young children and teenagers. I understand that having academic problems at school can be very stressful for both the student and their parents, however as as a tutor, I will be able to transfer my knowledge/skills to my students and explain in a fun, yet studious manner.
Lessons are $25 per hour one-on-one or $20 for group sessions, held at a UTAS library.
Background
I have 1-2 years experience tutoring a range of different children, including those with special needs. During high school, I was also part of a peer tutoring program which has equipped me with the skills needed to tutor both children and teenagers.
