I approach teaching by first getting to know a student well: level of English communication, likes, dislikes, interests and context.
Then I move to a video selected for the student's ability. An informal discussion about the issues in the video or music performance are then discussed, establishing an easy conversational relationship with the student. I like to use music to effectively teach language.
During this get to know each other period, further lessons are designed around the strengths and weaknesses observed.
Above all I believe each teaching session should be enjoyable and enlightening. My aim is to make learning fun while growing competence.
I have been a manager of a culturally diverse IT support team and am now qualified to help any student with their English, or IT skills. I am in the Illawarra coast of NSW and can teach remotely or by visiting, whichever is preferred by the student. I am a lover of language, travel and enjoy communication.
I expect as early as is known cancellation advice for lessons.
