The lesson structure might start with a consultation based first lesson, where I will try to figure out your goals within a year of lessons. I will also begin teaching some basic music theory (for sight-reading) and the basics of piano playing. I will also be teaching basic hand positions to develop your technique early on.
Practical and theory combination is recommended for early students to strengthen understanding of piano-playing.
I am currently an international student at the University of Melbourne. I have had a total of 1-year experience teaching piano back in Indonesia. I have taught 30 students that year in sight-reading, solfége, ABRSM practical exams, and helped them to prepare for competitions. Moreover, I have participated in and won several national and regional competitions and festivals.
Piano technique and music comprehension are both of my strongest suits.

I have participated in and won several competitions. I have also completed my grade 8 ABRSM exams. I will now list my musical history below:
2014: 3rd prize winner at Indonesia Piano Competition Medan and achieved a distinction for Grade 7 practical exams. I also performed at the High Scorers' Concert for the results of the previous year (Grade 6 Piano exams and Grade 4 Singing exams)
2015: I participated in two different categories in Indonesia Piano Competition Medan and won the 1st and 2nd price for each. I, again, earned distinctions for my Grade 5 Singing exams that year as well as completed my Grade 8 piano exams. Moreover, I performed at the High Scorers' Concert again for the results of 2014.
2016: I performed at the High Scorers' Concert for the 2015 results. 2016 was also the year in which I moved to Singapore to complete my secondary education. It was during this two-year period that I studied music at the higher level provided by the International Baccalaureate.
2017: I performed at two different venues in Singapore: the Esplanade for the Youthful Company and the National Museum of Singapore for an event hosted by both the Canadian and Finnish Embassies.
