I hold a bachelor's degree in mathematics and am currently studying for my master's in education. I have tutored since high school and am planning to become a math teacher. I have privately tutored in high school and college. During the past year, I have tutored at Bronx Lacrosse as an algebra tutor for middle schoolers in NYC.

Depending on the math topic, I will give a diagnostic exam to gauge the student's current understanding. I also consider the student's confidence level. If a student gets a question correct but does not feel confident about it, I will work to build up their confidence.
The possible lessons range from elementary school math to high school math including standardized tests.
