Everyone in the classroom contributes as a student, teacher, and thinker. I learn from student as much as they learn from me. One way I stress this philosophy in my classes is to incorporate regular feedback from students. For example, I ask students to fill out a mid-course evaluation of the class, in which they reflect on the course goals and provide feedback on whether or not the course is helping them meet these goals thus far.
I am a graduate who used to specialize in Master of Arts in Chinese Translation and Interpreting at UQ. I have been giving private lessons since I was doing Bachelor's degree. I taught English grammar and writing as well as verbal skills. More than 20 people have been taught by me. With my help, their English skills have been improved and they have obtained a better score in school.
My uni courses included some teaching courses such as second language reading, second language acquisition, structure of language and intercultural communication.
