I believe that the student should be allowed and encouraged to lead the lesson just as much as the teacher. everybody learns through different styles, and i will do my best to nurture your specific needs and help you grow
I play at the bearded lady with my gypsy jazz band, and at the bright-side with my art punk grunge band. I have played guitar for about 8 years now. Try to find a genre I can't help you with
im happy to do a bigger distance if need be but will ask for a little bit more money for the travel
I am looking to teach guitar at a beginner/intermediate level
I love music and I love to teach it to anybody who needs it in their lives.
I have played guitar for about 8 years now
Ive played at weddings, gigged in venues around brisbane in several bands and busk normally twice a week for about 4 hours in each session. My fingers are calloused and I’m used to performing long hours.
I work well with children too, in-fact, two years ago I travelled to a small school in the Himalayas with a small group of friends, and after a gofundme, brought with me 4 guitars, 3 ukuleles and a bag of percussion instruments. I used these instruments to teach music to the kids at the school, from kindy age to grade 8, and left them there when I left after a months time for the kids to continue using. I am planning on going back there to continue my work as soon as possible
Ive been playing an instrument since I was 3 years old, and have moved through violin, piano, clarinet, saxophone, ukulele, bass, and harmonica.
I enjoy 50’s rock n roll, reggae, blues, country, folk, rock, metal, funk, jazz, psychedelic, Indian, Russian, Hungarian and South American folk music.
some of my favourite artists include: black sabbath, the doors, leadbelly, Wu tang Clan, hank williams, Herbie Hancock, Ali Farka, the beach boys, the neutral milk hotel and a hundred more. Id love for you to tell me yours
I am 18 years of age, finished year 12 at the Queensland Academy of Creative Industries and am studying sound production at SAE.
I’ve taught many friends and family members before and understand that everybody learns at their own rate, In their own way. I am a very patient person and will never in a million years be fed up or disappointed with trial and error time and time again. All I want to do is improve your skills to the best of my abilities, and my ultimate goal is for you to walk away from your lesson with a smile on your face and a sense of accomplishment. Everybody has the capability to learn this instrument, as long as you have the desire, some motivation and an instrument to practice on. Oh and a good teacher helps too
I’m currently living between morning side and Ashgrove and can travel to you provided its not too far. Otherwise my place is fine.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, I’d love to have a chat through text or call about anything.
