I believe more in facilitating the students rather than lecturing.
Students learn better when they are approached in a friendly and more relaxed and congenial environment.
I also use problem-based approaches in my teaching and a flicked classroom/blended learning approach.
I am a sessional staff member at the Australian Catholic University.
I have a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from Sydney University and have several years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level, able to connect well with the students and facilitate them either face to face or Online. I enjoy working with the students and believe that learning is a two-way process.
