About Sophie
I am a junior in high school and I am excited to get into tutoring, as I have helped my friends in most subjects throughout my entire school experience. School comes very easy to me, and over the years I have developed the love of helping others! I am a teacher at a martial arts studio as well, and I have great interest in education. I am incredibly social and patient, and I am looking forward to offering any sort of help I can!

I would be open to tutoring any student K-12, as I am experienced in working with students of all ages. I understand the stress of school and the very different methods of the varying teachers through any grade, and I recognize every learner is different. Personally I am a visual learner, while I have many friends who are tactile or auditory learners and struggle with certain teaching methods in comparison to others. Adapting to different teaching styles is a skill I have developed as well as calm problem-solving, which is incredibly important the as the difficulty of materials progress. Often, there is a tendency to look at a problem and shut down or quit on yourself, believing you are incapable of solving and therefore failing to begin to even try. I completely understand all frustration with school materials. But I am patient, eager, and I love Mathematics, so any frustration I am ready and willing to help through.
