May 2009- December 2012 Teaching Assistant/ Supply Teacher
As a teaching assistant and supply teacher. I was responsible for helping the other teachers in the room, I supervised and worked with the children during the day and directed and assisted them with their activities. I also supervised them while they were outside and took them on walks and to the park. I helped serve lunch and snacks and clean up the classroom.


April 2012- August 2012 Infant Room After-School Teacher
As an after- school teacher, I cared for the infants enrolled in the after- school program. I planned various sensory activities for the children, played music in the classroom and took them outdoor, and cleaned and maintained the classroom. I also interacted with the parents on a daily basis, and spoke to them about their children's day


December 2012- September 2013 Floater/Preschool Teacher
As a floater I covered the breaks, lunches, sick days and vacation days of the classroom teachers. I took over all their duties while in the classroom as a preschool teacher I planned a wide variety of curriculum for the children such as art and sensory experiences, outdoor activities, and fine motor activities all based around the children's interests.


September 2013-May2014 Qualified Supply/ Before/After School Teacher/ Toddler Teacher

I was both a qualified supply staff and a before/after school teacher. I supervised children in the before school program, I also planned and implemented curriculum for the kindergarten after school after school program. As a supply I would come in and cover for classroom teachers. While a teacher in the toddler room, I planned and implemented age appropriate activities, worked co-operatively with the other teachers in the classroom, carried out duties such as feeding, diapering and playing with the children, and documented and recorded children's activities.

September 2017-Present Online Teacher Outschool
As an online teacher, I create and teach original online history classes to children mainly between the ages of eight and fourteen. I use a variety of tools in my classes including Zoom, PowerPoint, and Google classroom. My lessons contain written notes, pictures, video clips and in-class activities, in addition to take home assignments. I have created both stand-alone live classes, and live courses, as well as one asynchronous course.
