About Victoria

Hello/Bonjour/Cześć :)

I am currently a student at Glendon Collège Universitaire where I am specializing in French Studies, Biology and pursuing a Bachelor of Education (Intermediate/Senior level: grades 7-12) all at the same time. I am proud to admit that I am part of the Glendon Top Scholars (students with the highest average) for 4 consecutive years. Complete courses such as the following:
--- French Writing for Experts (2nd and 3rd year level)
--- French Linguistics
--- French Literary Theory
--- Psycholinguistic Theories Applied to Teaching a Second
Language

I have completed the Extended French program and currently teach in a high school environment with placing extra focus on French classes. I am more than happy to provide tutoring for children ranging from grades 3-12. I have lots of experience working with smaller children as I was a Polish Scout Instructor for three years.

About the lesson

The first lesson will consist of a simple placement test to establish which level your child is at. From there, I will do my best to organize lessons tailored to your child's needs so that they have the most comfortable and engaging learning experience. Such lessons will include topics in which your child finds interest in (there's nothing worse than sitting through a boring French lesson...trust me I know haha). This may also include helping with homework or something as simple as a friendly conversation for those days where your child is not feeling up for more and would like to test their conversational skills in French

I truly believe the best way to introduce someone to a new language is to create an environment that is engaging, motivational, patient, and positive.
