My love for learning languages has undeniably led me to finding my interests in the areas of travelling and discovering new cultures. Being able to speak Spanish at a pre-advanced level, and French at an upper-intermediate level, makes me a rapid thinker, a sharp communicator and very easy to talk to.
Indulging into different cultures and societies has allowed me to discover the world of art and art history. I have a great passion for studying works of art, their interpretations and their context, in a way that allows me to observe my surroundings from different perspectives. Thus, making me an open minded individual, open to new ideas. This links into my curiosity within philosophy; my willingness to question something from a philosophical standpoint has shaped me into a rigorous critical thinker, making my everyday more exciting and, in a positive way, less tenacious.
I have always been more than keen to represent my school in sport. Having attained my position in the teams for hockey, netball and tennis quick to be a team player and have ambition to succeed.
I am also a keen fundraiser and greatly enjoyed conducting and participating in a 24-hour dance in which I raised over £2,000 for Maggie’s Centres, and raised a further £1,000 walking the Camino de Santiago trail in 2017.
