My teaching method ensures fun and delicious reign supreme! Despite my in depth knowledge of food science, biology, gastronomy and the vital role of micro and macro nutrients on the performance and longevity of our bodies, I still remain firm in my belief that food should delicious and the preparation should be enjoyable, love filled and free of stress or worry. I teach the tips and tricks to cooking simple and complex dishes with none of the stress, worry and often I even do away with measuring tools. I believe that when enjoyment, love and instinct become the drivers of the meal, it tastes better, is better for you and all round a lot more likely to be repeated. I ensure a lot of lighthearted fun with a strong grounding in the fundamentals of creating delicious dishes that make you feel as good as they taste.
- I have a bachelor degree in Nutritional Medicine
- I have spent 5 years teaching hands on cooking and nutrition classes as a part of Jamie Oliver's "Ministry of Food Program"
- I spent the following year working as a freelance nutritionist & chef doing one-on-one and group demos
- I have taught imaginative plant based cooking, comfort food favourites, baking, fundamentals of nutrition and life skills to elevate mental health and self love with underprivileged teenagers in an independent school environment for the past 2 years.
