Psychology student with high academic record. Passionate about providing support to other student and teaching academic skills.
Depending on the child, age and subject my lessons vary. I love to implement creative learning with flash cards, brainstorms and audio activities. However this doesn’t suit every child and apart of my teaching methodology is to have a discussion before class for me to organise a personalised lesson.
Firstly, it is essential to understand in detail the requirements of the student. After this I like to know and understand the topic of student interest. I believe teaching is an interaction between student and teacher and this interaction is made possible through informed communication.
I am a creatively driven, hands on english tutor with a teaching philosophy that all students are individuals and learn in their own ways. I like to investigate which learning style works best for my students: whether it be visually, auditory or tactile, and then I work my lessons around their style to ensure it is most effective for the student.
My method of tutoring is to look at different ways at understanding what is at hand, and different ways at approaching assignments, task, homework and problems. I believe that the best way to learn is by asking questions and discussing the topic.
I like to ensure to teach in a way which my students understand. Whether they are visual learners or other, I will teach in a way which they will understand.
I am do a different number of methods based on the learning goals that are desired by my students and with proven reuslts.
I am a very cool and easy going teacher who intends to make the sessions joyful for the students. I understand that some students are concerned about their exams but I help them to be more relax and get the most out of my teaching sessions. I use youtube videos and powerpoint notes in my teaching sessions to make the lessons easy to digest for the students.
I approach teaching with practicality, with efficient design and realist principals. Sessions with me will see to immediate application and purpose with English, and void of the often too theoretical applications of secondary languages. I believe that life-practice is a supportive mechanism, not a comparative standard.
I have a patient teaching style that seeks to increase the student's capability and confidence. I drive the lesson home by repetiton and different styles of exercises. A small amount of homework would be given at the end of the lesson.
My goal is to help my students/clients to improve and enjoy the process. Ideally, you understand why you learn what you learn to increase your motivation...enjoying the path you are going. I believe we all have potential, but we need to find a way to evoke it :).
I believe in building the concepts of a student from zero. I allow the students to interact and ask questions freely and also take lead during problem solving in the class. I try to build the confidence of my students.
I aim to provide needs-based support. This means that I liaise with parents and sudents' to determine the primary needs for tutoring. With older students I generally focus on assignment help and from this I can then create lessons based on identified areas requiring improvement. For younger students I strive to use games in my tutoring methods to engage students as much as possible.
I run each of my sessions methodically, ensuring that student and parent are on the same page and goals have been set prior to beginning. A session is generally broken down into outline/goal setting, theory/content/practice work and discussion/debrief.
I'm energetic, passionate and adaptable, so I can work with you, your needs and preferences to get the best results. I am skilled at making others feel comfortable, I'm patient and I am always open to feedback so I can improve. Capable of explaining things in different ways to appeal to your way of thinking, I can make learning enjoyable whilst helping you get excited about your academic studies.
There is no one particular teaching 'style'. A great teacher can teach each student individually, whilst educating the whole class at the same time. Teaching is not simply 'standing in front of a classroom'. It is much more than that. Teaching or to be a great teacher is to build trusting, professional and friendly relationships with students of all cultures and backgrounds. This is Australia.
If you are up for a new perspective on learning your subjects, then my ability to creatively innovate a unique definition of acquiring knowledge is for you! Our lessons can be as straight-forward or as fun as you want.
My teaching method is different. It’s totally depends on students ability and interest.I always follow the academic syllabus and love to teach students about the whole topic.
Aim to help individuals struggling with the standard schooling system. Proficient in assisting with Maths and Science (7-12). I believe that every individual has a hidden talent that just needs to be encouraged and pushed in the right direction. My tutoring will aim to uncover these hidden talents and allow the individuals to flourish.
My teaching methodology is personalised to each student’s needs but overall it is that effective teaching is engaging teaching. For students to want to learn, the way they are taught must be less of a “teach by the book” method and more of an invitation to learn.
My teaching style is practical yet open-minded. I am flexible in terms of others learning styles. Structured in an informal setting (can be formal) with the approach of incremental stages towards sustainable and achievable outcomes.
My teaching method and philosophy is built on encouraging students to embrace learning so that they will become life-long learners. My lessons not only teach students facts and knowledge but also encourage students to do their best work and also to keep on improving.
I approach a topic by working with the student(s) to identify what it is we are trying to achieve and why we are trying to achieve it. This then helps to guide our learning together.
I believe in an individualised philosophy where each student is allowed to learn in the way he/she prefers - whether it requires reading support, memory games, visual exercises or involvement of games I adapt all lesson structure as needed. As I am currently working as teacher of a mixed-age class, I have proven ability to adapt my teaching skills as necessary.
I believe you need to work through every step of a question with the child and have them practice repeatedly. This is the only way that they will be able to remember and fully understand how to solve a question.
Qualified and experienced Primary Teacher who focuses on individual success and growth by finding out how your child learns best! Learning must be engaging and fun where the lessons are driven by the students and what they want to achieve. No two lessons are the same as all students vary in their abilities and capabilities.
My teaching method is focused on individual student learning needs and involves a comprehensive understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches. I engage students through careful appreciation of learning goals and the best ways to achieve them. I believe all learning should be fun.
