I approach each student differently From realis to abstract Art can be exspressed or directed it’s up to the Indervidual
I am not a formally trained teacher but have instead conducted classes in an informal setting in my own home. I work towards connecting with the student and establishing a rapport.
My teaching Phylosophy is to think not only about what is good for today but to have a long term plan and focus for the future.
I assess a student's experience and skill level, and use their own interests to aid them in learning a new form. Everyone's learning style is different, but anyone can learn to master the paper. I encourage practice at home, as the basic skills are invaluable in other areas of life. I provide course materials, paper and reference pages.
I practise a student-centred approach to teaching and believe knowledge can be mastered by anyone who genuinely wants to attain it. However, learning is often a drudge or a set of 'facts' to be memorized for an exam in our current education systems.
My teaching method is hands on.
My teaching method is to adapt to every student differently depending on their needs. Every lesson we have a specific focus for the week whether it be writing and naming different notes, focusing on hand structure and fingering, or specific scales, arpeggios, pieces or exercises. I teach grades and just simple pieces to play for pleasure.
I combine physical skills based learning with a thorough contextualization of the student, in order to empower them to create art that relevant to them self and the broader community.
I always try to make my lessons interesting and fun. It is important for me to make my students happy by being patient and understanding. It is important for my students to fully understand what is being taught and to then practise this until they can use the targeted language.
Depending on your needs, I am flexible and we could discuss about this during our first meeting.
I demystify some of the learning of the guitar by giving students opportunity to enjoy music making for its own sake, both at the lesson and at home. Music is a common language and the learning of it should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. I establish a broad understanding of how music works by establishing some basic fundamentals, and then conduct lessons at the students own pace.
My teaching method is to demystify the confusion that sometimes arises in music theory by giving students opportunity to apply it directly to their instrument or compositions. Music is a common language and the learning of it should be accessible to everyone.
