I like to base my approach on practicality and authenticity. It is my aim that my students are able to use what I teach and use it in everyday situations. I also hope to teach students what the English language is really like and how to use it in an authentic way.
My approach to teaching has always been socially oriented, aiming at developing a rapport with the student and allowing the education to bloom from shared interests and understanding. The cliché is true: start with what you love and work from there.
My teaching method is learner - teacher approach especially in pre school. Individualized instruction is applied to students who are slow learners. Rote learning is not my style. Lessons must be understood and retained to the learners’ mind. I dont introduce a lesson unless the student understands the previous lesson. Remedial lesson is important.
I am a firm believer in that everyone learns differently. Therefore I take a unique approach to each and every one of my students in order for them retain as much knowledge as possible and to make learning English an enjoyable experience.
Fluency is the ultimate goal of learning any language, but it is rarely taught when learning a second language. Many students therefore learn vast amounts of vocab and strict grammar rules, believing that without then they can't speak properly. I will teach you to speak first, and everything else comes later.
My teaching method depends on the age and amount of people I am teaching. I like to incorporate fun and practical methods to help students remember and recall lessons with ease.
My method of teaching is relax, fun and friendly through role plays, games, conversations and discussions, watching films, videos and listening to music. I tend to show lots of photos and pictures and bring objects to the class to show.
I don't rely on powerpoint presentation at all. I prefer reading the book and make the students understand the points in depth. I believe in regular doubt clearing classes. I also prefer a lot of reference readings.
I base my lessons on what the students need the most assistance with. I am a fun and dedicated teacher. I use a combination of written work, reading, and speaking and listening exercises. I also use multi media technology when appropriate.
My teaching method is very interactive and flexible. I like to use a lot real life examples as they are most practical. For example, I make cut-out paper food and make the children name the food in order to receive them to make their pizza. I like to use a lot of videos, photos and props in my lessons to help the children visualize.
My teaching methodology consists of both theory and practical learning structures. My philosophy is that great teachers form strong relationships with their students and show that they care about them as people. The key philosophy is for the teacher to be warm, accessible, enthusiastic and caring. Teachers with these qualities are the difference between a good and great teacher.
I'm an outgoing girl who's kind and patient. I'm willing to listen to my students and giving advice based on their circumstances. In terms of the lesson structure, vocabulary is definitely the first thing in my class and I will do dictation where necessary. When teaching listening, I ask students to read and understand questions before playing the audio.
My teaching method is student orientated and I develop lessons and strategies depending on your goals. I hold a strong focus on feedback, encouragement and practice. My main goal as a tutor is to provide my students with the skills to feel comfortable and confident in the given area they choose.
I would like you to speak as much as possible even if you make a mistake and if you do make a mistake it’s ok don’t worry I do it all the time in Japanese and Portuguese. I find that you learn best when you get it wrong.
My teaching method is Total Physical Response. I'm expressive, artistic and creative which means I'm an excellent communicator. I've taught young children and teenagers mostly one on one and small groups. I'm skilled at diverse teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
I believe the best way to learn a language is to enjoy it. Therefore it is important to me that my classes match your interests and goals. I have experience teaching students from a wide variety of age, culture, language and English level backgrounds and will do my best to give classes that will meet what you want.
My teaching methods involve interactive tutorial sessions and lecture style delivery. I base my classes on a university-style teaching approach and this includes short presentations, assessment quizzes, and practical activities. My focal points begin with the students weak areas.
My teaching lessons are topic based and are highly relevant to the needs of my students. I teach work based English skills; communication, learning, workplace issues, signs and symbols, safety, teamwork. I also teach English skills for everyday use; speaking, listening, reading and writing needed for the home, banking, shopping, helping children with homework, household safety, health etc.
This depends on the age of the student and also their purpose.
Being someone who enjoys learning languages, I understand what it is like to learn them, especially when you start from the beginning and don't understand a thing. When teaching ESL, it is my utmost goal to help my students understand and learn as much as possible.
I think the best way to learn is to jus talk! Perhaps choose a topic, and I can ask questions about it to which the student responds.
I teach people of all ages and backgrounds and can accommodate from the earliest beginners who simply want to learn the basics, to more advanced students who want to take their English comprehension to the next level.
My teaching methodology depends on the needs of my students. Most of my lessons are based on student-centered and communicative activities which require the students to be active and reflective learners; however, I also include teacher-led activities when explicit teaching is required such as modelling an academic paragraph.
I have taught at different educational setting from primary school to international colleges. I believe that learning a new language shouldn't be so hard. Some of my teaching strategies are: Explicit teaching instruction. Attention to the student's needs. Clear explanation. Visual resources.
My teaching method is by experience. It varies according to each student's individuality. I know what I'll be teaching but the "how" is determined by the rapport and each student's needs and interests. Each student has a different way of learning, so the method is addressed as soon as I am familiarized with the objectives of each student.
Friendly environment , Grammar, oral and written comprehension, reading, conversation , oral presentations, dictations, and more .
MY teaching methodology is mostly learner centered. I believe learners should be actively involved in learning process through asking them questions, discussion, group work. if however i am introducing a new concept i use a bit of lecture method.
As I am a coach as well as teacher I like to make a plan with my students set personal goals and tailor our sessions to suit what they want. As I am an experienced teacher I bring wealth of knowledge from both the coaching and education fields to tailor my approach to the individual student. So they experience success right from the first session.
My teaching skills are based in perfecting the language. As i speak five languages i can draw parallels from each language to make my students better understand.
I like to teach towards my students' goals and language ability. I aim to make the lesson engaging, fun, and insightful. Every lesson will have you feeling like you really achieved something today. No student goes away empty-handed from my lessons.
