Depending on the skill level of the student I will structure the lesson accordingly. An example of this is with my primary student, we start the lesson reading news articles that are relevant to his work, then move onto topics of conversation and we set and discuss a homework task, outlining what is required and how to move forward. I test his skillset periodically.
