My teaching method is extremely flexible depending on the student and his/her needs. I think that grammar is essential but it has to be coupled with the right dose of practice. It is fundamental to understand the way in which a language works and the logic behind its constructions to master a language and to feel confident while using it.
I generally base my classes on my students needs and goals. Depending on the goal you want to achieve I provide you with all the materials and support you need. My lessons focus on all aspects of the language: conversation, grammar, writing, reading and vocabulary.
My teaching method is based on making students practice as much as possible during lessons, rather than giving homework. In addition, I tend to use sheets, audio recordings or other material to make the lesson more pleasant for the student. I also prefer to make my students work in teams, if possible.
My teaching methods are primarily based on fun and practical approach. I have 2 young children of my own, to whom I am teaching on a daily basis with similar tangible results. To begin with, simple words and phrases, moving later on towards more complex topics such as sentence constructions, phonetics, pronunciation, and language proficiency on basic and professional levels.
I have very good listening skills and I benefit from this ability as I am able to connect with students and make the lessons engaging and never boring. I strongly believe in the importance of supporting students in their learning process, keeping their motivation high and understanding what is the goal they want to achieve by learning Italian in order to reflect it into the lessons.
For advance students I teach using the direct method, that means only using the Italian language. This is the best way to train your ear and get a feeling for the language. The lessons include grammar and grammar exercises. I systematically teach you the build up of the Italian language, so you learn to write and speak correctly.
I base my class on conversation. my lessons are focused on your personal needs. listening, speaking and writing are foundamental for a complete learning of a new lenguage. A great and not-boring method to learn a new lenguage is also listening and learning italian songs.
My teaching method is based on speaking and I try to get my student to do not get bored with to much grammar! I had to learn English myself and I know how hard it can be ! I try to make as fun as possible
I believe a language has to be thought from its grammar and its basics; once those are strong, then the verbal communication gets smoother and very clear. Also the origins of a language are essential to understand it fully. I have strong knowledge of Latin and ancient Greek from which there are many derivations in Italian. I approach the student depending on his/her habits in learning.
I strongly believe that everyone gets their own way in the learning process, so my lessons change from person to person, because of this all of my students obtain the results that they wanted. My teaching method is 360°, there is no right or wrong way to learn something, so we will do the one that suites you best.
I start from the English language, I leverage on mutual roots of Italian and English. I love teaching the language explaining their origin and how is usually in use among native speaker. I can use a more academic methodology for students or is required.
Flexible. I can arrange plans as per your requirements. Going wine tasting lets talk about wine, the regions and history. Taking a historical tour. Lets review archaeological terms and a bit of Italian History. Lessons are oral but with written plans and customised pages if needed. Want to start at the beginning with vocabulary and grammar, we can do that.
I focus on my students' most urgent needs in order to help them gain the skills and the levels they are looking for in speaking, writing, listening and reading. Therefore, I have a personal approach in teaching my students with fun and design classes for them individually.
My teaching method is to ask the client what they intend to do with the language whether it be for business purposes or travelling, then give an evaluation based on what the client wants to do with the language and make a program based and suited to their needs.
My teching method is going to depend from who I have in front of me. I'm going to structure my lessons differently if I'm teaching to students or if I'm dealing with people just interested in learning the language for private reasons.
I don't use the same metod with all student, I prefer to have a 1st lesson to discuss and understand what can be the best way for you... If you like homeworks or not, if you have a better visual memory or audio memory... I prepare the lesson suited to the student.
I would like to keep a "casual",not formal, kinda of teaching method.
My teaching philosophy is based on fast-paced, communicative activities that force students to think quickly under pressure, helping them to start thinking in their second language rather than translating from L1, and helping them get over their fear of speaking - my priority is to help with oral expression, despite the fear of making mistakes.
I think that the only way to learn a new language, is practice and practice and practice. That can be difficult, when you live thousands km far from the country where Italian is spoken. My lessons fit your necessities.
I usually have young students and I like to discover their interest, so that I can plan classes accordingly. I believe its very important to be able to communicate, so I prepare my student to be able to hold an everyday conversation. Usually we act and we immagine to be in some Italian setting enviroment.
We could improve your communication skills having conversation and/or pay more attention to the grammar. It depends on you goals.
My experience on both the student and the teacher side has allowed me to develop a way of teaching italian in a simple and fun way. I know the struggle of learning a new language and that's why I try to understand the learning method of the student and adapt my lessons to it.
Depending on the entry level of the student I support my teachings with visual materials, prepare exercises to do with you, interact with images on books and listening to audio and entertaining italian music, using a wide variety of vocabulary.
From grammar and the pronunciation to the particular meaning and the sound of the Italian words. Lessons for everybody with a deep explanation of the beauty behind one most unique sounding languages.
I choose different approaches according to the student needs. I prefer let people think about what they have to do when they do an exercise, and to adopt an interactive method, using videos, images, music, to make the lesson more interesting and fun.
I base my lessons on practise. I believe a language is just a matter of exercise. The more we talk the better we get at it. I will help you of course to understand why we say things and words in a certain way.
I approach classes with a grammar background which is essential to understand the language as well as a cultural background. I focus on conversation, writing skills and all the other aspects needed to teach a language and its values.
I am a highly creative, easy-going and empathic individual. I like to build connection with my students in order to create unique lessons focussed on the specific interests and needs of each student.
