I truly believe anyone can learn to sing - all you need is the willingness to work, and the ability to be both critical, and kind to yourself. While I am definitely a technical teacher, I like to tackle songs from an acting perspective - if you understand what you're saying, the voice will automatically respond.
I'm also student who is major in vocal in music now. I'm looking for some students who don't have any knowledge of music, as well as who wants to improve their music more!! For the singing, I am going to focus on basic things like breathing and how your songs can sound better.
I am a strong believer of every individual's unique style when it comes to Artistic performance so when I teach I am protective of my students uniqueness. With that in mind, I prefer to start from teaching basic breathing techniques and vocal drills.
My students appreciate my patience, my flexibility and my well-preparedness. I have helped many students achieve their musical goals. Every student has different dreams and circumstances. Together, we will find an individual practice routine that works for you. Discover if the stage calls you or if you want to use music making as an amazing therapeutic tool.

Every voice is unique, so I adapt my teaching style to match the voice and starting level of the student. Every student will learn the same skills and our lessons will make use of warm ups, exercises and homework, however the techniques we explore will vary depending on your current ability.
My teaching method is heavily based on getting students comfortable in their own voices and bodies before we make any goals! I truly believe confidence in yourself makes for a fantastic performance and can even help with social skills. I will be using vocal exercises to get students to familiarise themselves with their voices before we can work towards performances.
I believe each person has their own unique style of singing. I strongly believe in finding your own voice and singing from the heart as opposed to miniking the original artist. Strong breath control and vocal hygiene is a must in all of my classes as well as knowledge of the song you are singing. A song is a story and must be sung from the heart.
My teaching methodology is to nurture and grow potential. I focus on improving technique, giving fun tips and tricks, expanding your musicology and providing lots of practical methods as well. You'll learn by doing and through variety and experimentation - you'll enjoy a safe place to expand your voice and singing abilities.
I believe in helping my students find their own unique voice. In the lesson we will work on exercises to strengthen your voice and boost your confidence as a performer, and apply these exercises practically as we work through a variety of songs of your choosing (with guidance from me). We will sing along with a recording, a cappella and with guitar accompaniment.
My teaching methods are very systematic. My students will learn about the muscles in the mouth and throat, as well as how their vocal chords move, so they can have perfect control of their voice.
With a background in Speech Level Singing and Musical Theatre, I draw from both these genres and aim to teach students how to sing with strength and ease, finding confidence to do things with their voice they never thought possible.
My teaching method is face to face. I like to use paper, theory, and techniques that suit the individual. I am a very flexible person and want to make you feel comfortable in the teaching environment. I love singing at the beach, in open outdoor spaces and in professional recording studios.
Depending on your goals and why you want to learn, I have different teaching methods for each student. For high school students or students of any age who are serious about their singing, I will teach them technique regarding breathing and different ways of using your voice properly without hurting or straining.
30 minute + 1 Hour solo and group lesson options. 10-15 minutes of piano scale practice, and 15-20 minutes live singing and performance with professional PA and microphone. Contemporary Training, focusing on breath, posture, anatomy, psychology and emotional connection.
PLEASE NOTE: NOT CLASSICAL TRAINING! I DO NOT TEACH THEORY. I teach you in the way that I personally learnt to sing, by singing. I am intuitive in the way I teach. First we discover your goals. Then establish where you are at in your vocal journey and together we devise a course of action to get you where you want to be.
All of my lessons are catered to the needs and skill levels of the students. I am guided by the students goals to create specific lesson plans. I use all the knowledge I have learnt through my BA as well as my knowledge from preforming on stage.
I believe in order to become a great singer you must have the right vocal technique. Once you develop you vocal and physical technique when it comes to singing you can any genre you wish and perform what it is that allows you to shine. In lessons I guide you through proper breathing practices to working on diction is songs. How do I sing in my head voice? I explain this to you.

* WE ALL SHARE A PASSION FOR MUSIC. * EVERY STUDENT IS DIFFERENT. * I LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR "GOAL OR TARGET" FOR SINGING/PERFORMING IS. * WE EXPLORE YOUR STYLE AND RANGE. * WE LEARN AND WE GROW THROUGH THEORY AND PRACTICE.
My method of teaching is to find your voice and unlock it. Yes there are vocal exercises, breathing techniques and learning how to use your whole body to support your voice so your best singing voice is allowed to be released.
I am a 28 year old male who loves music and passing on my knowledge to people willing to learn. I perform as a vocalist in the australian (brisbane) death metal band Eternal Rest. In my lessons, I like to cover the fundamentals of vocals, such as warm up techniques, maintenance of your voice, breathing, core strengthening exercises and of course lyric writing and phrasing.
My lessons are based on the learning goals of my students. Each person has a different approach to music, a different understanding of it, and something different to give to music. I work with students to both help them realise and unlock this.
I have a logical and physics based approach for each chosen area so that the student can rationalise and understand by themselves and get to a point where new principles can be derived and self taught due to the understanding of the subject matter.
I believe that empathy is the key to a good learning enviroment, and being flexible towards the student's needs is what makes our time together an accomplishment. Body, mind, art, and emotions are all part of the music journey, and taking care of all these aspects is what will make you understand and go deep into music.
Basically I follow the syllabus and give additional training when needed to students. Always choose the easy method to teach my students.
I have a wealth of hands on professional experience and real life practical coaching experience, the lessons are all individually tailored to what the student is out to achieve and the current and ongoing gaps in the student achieving that be it musically, technically or general life skills
I will improve the teaching of vocal music according to the different situations of each person. It will guide students in detail in a humorous and funny way, and let them know the direction of progress through acoustic theory, with half the effort.
