To an extent, getting good grades is a question of playing the game-- I can help you understand what the markers want to see. Having said that, I love the subjects I tutor in, and my real goal is to try and pass on a bit of that love!
At AS Level, I had my first taste of tutoring when a science-strong fellow student asked me for help with his History, since essay-writing subjects weren't his forte, and I helped him achieve an A. Since then, I've made it a habit of tutoring my peers-- in my final year of university I helped two peers with a module in which they struggled, and they both achieved Firsts. It's only recently that I realised I could actually make a bit of money being a Proper Tutor, which is why I'm here!
