Along with education in Languages facilitation from early childhood sector through to university experience, Kedem has considerable experience across arts forms as varied as set and mask design, major painted glass installations, sculpture and mixed media exhibitions. These tools form the foundation for quality framework art therapy, care, and education activities which have been applied extensively for workshops which she has designed, implemented and delivered within Reggio Emilio Philosophy and school Framework contexts for the early childhood sector as well as youth at risk and or children and special needs within the international communities of Europe and the Middle East, as well as in Melbourne, Cairns and Sunshine Coast within the VET Health training, counselling or education
Multi-degreed at the postgraduate level in both the arts and Early Childhood through to Tertiary Education with qualifications in Care, Counselling, Design, and Fine Arts, Kedem demonstrates an acute understanding of the integration of theory and practice in the arts and education.
Kedem is committed to the ongoing philosophy and methodology of practice-based research in education, art and design with the client production of original artifacts at the basis of her research practice.
As part of this approach Kedem integrates the use of traditional with cutting edge digital methods, stretching the boundaries of contemporary art applied to understandings of memory triggers, and stimulus for health and education.
Widely commissioned, Kedem has participated in over 50 exhibitions and approved community development projects in conjunction with Cairns and Sunshine Coast Regional Councils, galleries and now completing a Masters of Counselling at Monash while teaching English at Brighton Institute of Technology while assisting therapy at Positive Directions.
