Learning is an individual and a collaborative process. Drama is most effective done in person where everyone contributes and are equal and important. Reflection, feedback, assessment, and homework help develop the learning process. Learning happens everywhere therefore the integration of field trip's helps deepen the learning process. Learning must be scaffolded/differentiated to suit all learning styles such as visual, verbal, social, logical and physical.
I have over six years of qualified teaching experience. I have worked overseas and in Australia teaching mostly drama and English language learning content to primary, secondary and adult learners. Always aiming to expand others and my own learning opportunities.
Cancellation policy: must cancel at least 2 days before the timetabled lesson otherwise there will be a fee to cover any preparation work done for missed lesson. This fee will be waived in some circumstances such as illness, death in the family etc.
I am a regisited and experienced English/ESL language and Drama teacher who has taught across K-12 and adults. I graduated with a Master of Teaching in 2013 from Deakin University (Victoria, Australia) and constantly employed since then.
Ideally I will gain long term (minimum 1 year) full-time employment evolving with the learning community into a head of department role. This role will be within a student-centered, stable, genuine, supportive, collaborative, and challenging environment.
