As a native English speaker, I have been studying Bahasa Indonesia for over 10 years, and was fortunate enough to live in Yogyakarta for 2 years prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I'm Lauren - a 24 year old from Jervis Bay NSW who loves everything about Indonesia!
I am currently studying a Masters degree in Translation and Interpreting (Indonesian-English).
I hope to inspire students to love learning Indonesian as much as I have and to ensure that you are able to communicate in a culturally and socially appropriate manner with our closest and most significant neighbouring country.

Perfect! I have found Indonesian lessons with Lauren very useful for improving my grammar and conversational abilities. Lauren has an excellent teaching manner, and a very good technical grasp of the language. It is her teaching manner that makes these classes particularly constructive, and as a result I highly recommend for anyone learning Indonesian at any level.
