When I am teaching a new concept, I like to break complicated information into smaller "packets" that are easier to understand. Then, I will explain the "packets" one by one, initiating students to ask "why" and "how". I like to provide examples that are related to daily activities as they are more relatable and easier to remember. I will then link those "packets" together and evaluate the concept as a whole. I find this method is effective to most of the people including myself.
I am a fresh graduate of Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) with First class honour at Monash University. I have been providing private lessons to my friends and course mates since the first year of university. I enjoyed teaching as it is the best way to learn. I am good at breaking complicated concepts into small parts that are easier to understand and this helped me in achieving good results during my degree. Being effectively multilingual in English, Malay, Mandarin with the experience of mentoring in Monash University have proven my ability to communicate effectively to audiences from different background. Moreover, I am responsible and have a great enthusiasm to deliver what I had learnt to the others.
