I aim to maintain a strong dialogue with the student, as they are the only people that can properly articulate the difficulties they are having. From this, I consider it vital to tailor the tutorial to address their concerns, and ensure they retain knowledge relevant to solving the problem on their own.
I am presently a fourth year student at Monash University, studying Law (Honours) and Science, with a major in pure mathematics and a minor in chemistry. I have been tutoring for three years, usually a Year 11 or 12 student in a mathematical science.
Obtained a VCE certificate in 2016 with an ATAR of 98.55.
Relevant raw study scores include a 46 for Physics, 44 for Chemistry, 40 for Revolutions, 48 for Further Mathematics and 36 for Mathematical Methods.
Tutor for three years, with students regularly scoring 35 or more in their VCE results.
Weighted average mark exceeding 80 as at the start of 2020.
