At the very start, I gauge the students' level of understanding and move on from there. The learning curve is kept gradual and each new concept builds on top of and links with the previous ones for a more cohesive understanding. Students are given practice sums for each concept to test their level of understanding and are taught more than one way to solve problems so they can think of problems in different ways. This avoid tunnel vision and rote-learning.
I'm currently studying postgraduate Master of Mechanical Engineering from Monash University. Physics and Thermodynamics are among my strong suits; I received straight A's in my Thermodynamics and Applied Physics units in my undergraduate degree.
The students I have tutored before benefited significantly because of better theoretical foundations, increased focus on repetition, and a firmer grasp of concepts.
Cambridge International O-Levels from 2010 to 2013 - 8 A*, 1 B
Cambridge International A-Levels from 2013 to 2015- 3 A* 2 A
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from 2015 to 2019- 3.84 CGPA
Master of Mechanical Engineering from 2020 onwards - 3.875 CGPA
I have studied with Mr Osama. He taught me A-levels Maths and Further Maths. Its been upwards of 4 years now and I still remember all the concepts he taught me clearly. His methodology and his commitment are second to none and he takes immense pride in his ability to impart knowledge. Would highly recommend it for an excellent learning experience.
