It is understandable that each person learns differently depending on their capabilities. My structured lessons aim to achieve your personal outcomes when learning the piano.
Combining my skills as a piano teacher and qualified music therapist, I bring an additional layer of patience in my teaching - perfect for all levels of experience!
No age is considered "too late" to start learning the piano. Whether you aim to conquer exams or purely to learn for enjoyment, I can support you through your journey.
Let's talk music!
I've been teaching piano since 2011 and am skilled at teaching both classical (Grades 1-6 AMEB) and contemporary piano music, as well as music theory (Grades 1-5). I've completed all AMEB exam levels from Preliminary up to Associate Diploma, with hopes to achieve the Licentiate Diploma in the very near future!
I also have two degrees under my belt - a double Bachelor's in Music and Education, and a Masters in Creative Music Therapy. In addition to my teaching, I am also a Registered Music Therapist and a member of the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
2011 - Associate Diploma in Piano awarded by AMEB (AMus.A)
2015 - Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education at University of New South Wales
2020 - Masters of Creative Music Therapy at Western Sydney University
2020 - Registered Music Therapist (RMT) in the Australian Music Therapy Association
2021 - Qualified Neurologic Music Therapist in the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy (Canada)
