I base my classes on personal and immediate needs, such as preparing you for an upcoming trip, or a class test. This ensures you are not overwhelmed with information and can focus on the task at hand. I simplify complex ideas by breaking them down, focusing on individuals elements like spelling or grammar and working up. I also offer broad Spanish lessons, for those who are interested in the culture or wish to become fluent in another language.
I have been giving Spanish lessons for over 10 years now and am good at creating both broad and specialised lessons to suit your needs. I have experience in primary and basic level teaching but specialise in personal one-on-one lessons.

My husband had Spanish lessons from Claudia and with her easy learning style he was able to, converse with Spanish speaking people on our trips overseas to countries that mainly speak native Spanish. This has been Peru and other countries in South America and also in Spain where the Spanish is spoken slightly differently. My husband was able to grasp the language and understand lots of different native speaking Spanish people. He now chooses to read Novels in Spanish. This made travelling overseas to countries that speak Spanish so much more enjoyable and easy. So grateful to Claudia.
Claudia was my first and only Spanish teacher, first while she was living in Peru and I was a visitor there, and later by Skype when I returned to Australia. These days, Claudia is in Australia too. Claudia was such an effective teacher that she did herself out of a job! I can read Spanish fluently, and converse with Spanish speaking people with considerable success, and so no longer require her services. Claudia makes lessons fun because she has a good sense of humour, and works on topics that interest the learner. I have fond memories of being in her class. Tony, Cairns
She is an excellent person to have conversational Spanish classes with. Being Peruvian, her speciality is, of course, South American Spanish. I have been attending weekly conversational classes with Claudia since the beginning of last year and feel that my Spanish has vastly improved. Often the main problem that Spanish language learners face is the rapid speed of the spoken language, but Claudia takes care to speak slowly and clearly to give the learner the confidence necessary to develop the necessary listening skills which can them facilitate better speaking skills.
