My goal is to help all students become confident, independent and skilled learners. I work with students to identify and overcome learning challenges in a supported and sequenced manner. This often involves discussing student backgrounds and personal needs, working with writing samples and past assignments, assisted deconstruction of course resources, and trying out different learning strategies to see what works best for them. We can then step through processes until students are comfortable and able to work independently.
