I am a 4th Year Occupational Therapy Student studying at Australian Catholic University. I have been tutoring for over 2 years (part of that including with non-native English speakers) and have experience with students of all ages and all stages of learning.
English and grammar defines language and our understanding of each other. A comma can change the entire meaning of a sentence: from "Let's eat Grandma"; to "Let's eat, Grandma". I have a great passion for English, my best subject throughout school (38 ATAR), and would love to pass on what I know: essay and creative writing, grammar, speaking, comprehension, writing, etc.
I base my classes on your interests and prioritised needs, with the aim being to provide clear and practical teaching. I like to take into account unit outlines (particularly for VCE work) and target my teaching to what will help you in classes/tests/SACs/etc. If you are willing to put into practice everyday what you learn, English will be an area you can breeze through.

Gabby is a kind and encouraging teacher who will go above and beyond to help you the best she can. Gabby’s love for reading and writing comes through in the way she teaches. She will not only help you to improve your grades but will also instil in you a passion for language and learning.
Gabby is great at providing good quality English grammar lessons that will help you to improve. She is motivated and hardworking, so she will definitely help you on your way to English success!
I have worked with Gabby for 3 years in a volunteer setting and she has proven to be reliable and excellent at what she does. Gabby has volunteered her precious time and knowledge in community tutoring for 2 years and I have seen that she quickly builds rapport with those she's teaching as well as her fellow tutors. Gabby is patient, calm and absolutely pleasant in nature. I believe her students can benefit greatly from her experience, knowledge as well as the pleasant learning experience she provides.
Gabby is a kind and caring person and has been a delight getting to know as she has been a dear friend for many years. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with her volunteering at a local Church as a childcare worker as well and she has been amazing. She encourages the children to do their very best, as all teachers should and teaches the children with a calm and collected tone. While working with her, she performs tasks to the best of her ability, leads with assurance and supports other volunteers by showing care and compassion for them.
From what I've seen these past years, she would make a fantastic teacher.
