About Craig
Nice to meet you! My name is (Dr.) Craig Welker; I am a US-American with a PhD in Spanish linguistics from the University of Bern in Switzerland, and a teaching degree from the same country, who now lives in Munich, Germany. I am motivated to use my academic qualifications, teaching experience in many different university and school contexts, life experience living in many countries, and personal language learning experiences to help you increase your level in a language, improve your academic writing, or learn about social sciences. I am very good at meeting students where they are and figuring out what they need to do to improve their level. In language classes, I believe we should use the target language as much as possible (in this case French) and focus mostly, but not only, on conversation practice with feedback about grammar and vocabulary and some other techniques.
It is important for me to tailor lessons to your needs and wishes, so I would try a variety of techniques to find out what best works for you. For me, the relationship between the student and teacher is of utmost importance, so I also am interested in knowing about you as a person, understanding your goals, and doing what I can to help you achieve them.
I can help students at a B2 level or lower. Just let me know where you are.
