I am an undergraduate student at University of Exeter reading BA International Relations with Study Abroad, and achieved high grade As in AS and A2 level in Government and Politics, English Literature and History of Art. With the University of Exeter as my first choice I achieved A,A,A in Government and Politics, English Literature and History of Art as was required to attend. Having passed the 11+, I studied at South Wilts Grammar School for Girls from year 7 to year 13 where I received an excellent education and wish to pass my skills and what I have learnt on to other students. International Relations is a subject that encompasses a broad range of topics from current affairs, British and American comparative government and politics and issues from security and gender studies to conflict and development.
I will structure my sessions according to the requirements of my students and will push them to achieve their academic goals. I will be supportive and prepare thoroughly for my lectures based upon what subjects my students are required to learn. Having kept my highly detailed A* notes from GCSE and A levels and through the first year of University I have more than sufficient information to help aid my students learning progress.
I will adapt to how I find my tutoring can best benefit my students and will track their progress while I teach them. I will structure my tutorials with engaging activities and responsive questions that will allow the student to have a greater depth of knowledge than they are being given in class which is guaranteed to give them the edge needed in their exam to achieve the grades they desire.
I have been tutoring A level Politics students over the course of this academic year. I am more than happy to work with students at whatever level and promise to improve their exam technique and skills applicable to exams and coursework.
