About Jalen

My passion for programming started when I became interested in how software can solve real-world problems. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering and have spent the past 8 years teaching students how to build strong coding foundations. I enjoy simplifying technical concepts and helping learners progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed.

My teaching approach is patient, adaptable, and highly practical. I focus on helping students understand how and why code works so they can build confidence independently. Some learners improve through visual demonstrations, while others prefer direct coding practice and logical explanation. I adjust lessons according to each student’s learning style and goals.

Outside teaching, I continue exploring new technologies, programming tools, and software trends through personal projects and independent study. Keeping my knowledge updated helps me bring relevant and practical ideas into lessons. Teaching programming is meaningful to me because I enjoy watching students become more capable, confident, and creative with technology.

About the lesson

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand coding in a simple and structured way. I teach topics like Python, Java, algorithms, debugging, web development, and object-oriented programming through practical examples and guided exercises. I believe students learn faster when they understand the logic behind code instead of only memorizing syntax.

Beginners start with variables, loops, conditions, and functions using small coding tasks and step-by-step support. Intermediate learners improve problem-solving skills, debugging methods, and project structure. Advanced students work on algorithms, optimization, and application building. Every lesson includes practice activities that encourage students to think independently and improve naturally.

Programming can feel difficult at first, so I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. My lessons help learners become more confident, analytical, and creative while solving technical problems. I want students to enjoy coding and trust their ability to learn modern technology successfully.
